GenShards ties up with open-source oracle platform DIA for transparent, reliable data feeds

DIA (Decentralised Information Asset) is an open-source oracle platform that enables market actors to source, supply and share trustable data.
📌 For Genshards, DIA will provide access to its scalable and validated data feeds.Upcoming DeFi projects on Genpad can use DIA’s trustable and scalable data feeds to build reliable products and avoid exploitation and manipulation.
📌 For DIA, the partnership enables it to join the Genesis Shards network as an Ecosystem Partner. This will allow DIA to offer its oracle services to early stage projects on GS.
DeFi applications are reliant on trustable and scalable data feeds to build reliable products and avoid exploitation and manipulation. DIA leverages crypto-economic incentives and the wisdom of the community to source, validate and deliver trusted financial data. The target of DIA is to bring together data analysts, data providers and data users. In general, DIA provides a reliable and verifiable bridge between off-chain data from various sources and on-chain smart contracts that can be used to build a variety of financial dApps.
DIA’s data feeds are being used by a range of market actors in the DeFi and CeFi space such as Polkastarter, Elrond, ANKR among others.DIA is divided into three main building blocks which work seamlessly to deliver reliable data feeds. First, the data collection mechanisms scrape and source data from various sources. Second, the database layer is flexible to handle all different kinds of data streams, from high frequency trading APIs to data that is never changed and accessible in a high-performance key-value-store.
Lastly, the collected and aggregated data is distributed using the REST API and oracle system. Lending platforms, index providers, prediction markets and other users can freely access DIA’s open-source, validated data streams.
