GS Market Walkthrough 📝
Buying your GenTicket just takes a few simple steps !
Once you have been whitelisted for a Genpad PreIDO and have also completed your KYC on https://www.app.genshards.com/market successfully, you then are eligible to take part in the PreIDO sale on the GS Market.
The time window for the GenTicket sale will be informed in advance.
Here’s a walk-through of the steps to be followed on the GS WebApp to take part in a PreIDO sale :-
1 ) Click on ‘Buy NFTs’
Once the preIDO sale window opens (will be communicated on our channels), go to https://www.app.genshards.com/market, and go to the ‘Live & Upcoming’ section
Here you should see a message mentioning you’ve been whitelisted in a particular category (if this message is absent, you are not eligible for this particular PreIDO NFT sale)
Click the “Buy NFTs” button below it
2) Click ‘Buy Now’ for your relevant GenTicket color
On this screen you can see how many GenTickets are remaining for each category. Note that there are a limited numbers of GenTickets available.
Select the GenTicket color for which you are whitelisted — and click on ‘Buy Now’
3) Buy confirmation
If whitelisted — you will see the following buy confirmation screen
Click on ‘Buy Now’
Note :- If you have not been whitelisted, you will see a screen like this -
4) And lastly — approve purchase on Metamask
Click on ‘Approve ETH / WETH’, and then approve the transaction on your Metamask
Note — the currency for purchasing a GenTicket is ETH
Once the transaction is completed — you will get a confirmation message as a popup.
And that’s it ! The GenTicket NFT should now be received in your wallet.

WHERE TO VIEW YOUR GEN TICKETS
- You will be able to view your GenTicket on the GenShards Web App or on OpenSea/ NFTrade
HOW TO TRADE GEN TICKETS BEFORE THE IDO
- Once you receive the tickets, you can trade the NFTs on the GS NFT Shop on NFTrade , or on OpenSea
- The contract address for the GenTicket will be shared by us on the Telegram Announcement channel, please do not buy a GenTicket before verifying this contract address
REDEEMING YOUR GEN TICKET FOR TOKENS
- You can also redeem the GenTicket NFT for underlying tokens after the IDO for that project (this can be done the GS Web App)
- The number of tokens that can be redeemed over time will depend on the token unlock schedule decided by the project (details can be found on the project’s Research Report)
