How to Redeem GenTicket for Project Tokens 🔄
5 Simple Steps on the GenShards WebApp
This GS WebApp allows investors to view their GenTicket details and perform a swap for the underlying tokens through an easy-to-use interface.
📌 NOTE — Redemption of tokens will only be possible after the IDO for the project
📝 Redeeming your NFT for tokens involves 5 simple steps…
1. Open the GenTicket web app 🈸
Go to app.genshards.com
You will see the following screen -
2. Connect your Metamask wallet 📂
Click on ‘Connect Wallet’ to connect your Metamask wallet to the platform (which contains your GenTicket). Make sure to connect your wallet on the correct chain (currently supported chains — Ethereum, BSC, Polygon)
3. Select Project from the Drop Down Menu
Select the appropriate project name
4. View your GenTicket(s) 🃏
You will be able to see your GenTicket NFT in the appropriate box (Black / Gold/ Pink / Silver)
Next to the GenTicket, you will be able to view -
- How many GenTicket NFTs you have (of each type)
- How many redeemable tokens are there in each GenTicket
Further details will be visible on clicking ‘View’
5. Click on ‘redeem’ ! 🔄 (ONLY POSSIBLE AFTER IDO)
The redeem functionality is enabled only after the IDO for the project.
Once you click the ‘Redeem’ button, your NFT will be swapped for tokens.
The appropriate number of tokens will be transferred to your connected Metamask wallet.
And that’s it ! Super simple, isn’t it ?
You now have the project tokens in your Metamask wallet — which you can then trade on a DEX like Uniswap / other exchange on which the token may be listed.
